Web Site Redesign: FILMLOG 2.0
FILMLOG has been extensively redesigned and reorganized. Over time the web site grew and now includes large sections in addition to the web log content. To simplify the user experience, we have added the home page as a starting point to allow a visitor to choose which part of the web site they wish to explore.
The web log itself went through the most radical change. The growing popularity and market penetration of the Flash plugin allowed us to transfer the whole content to the Flash-based platform. For some time now, Flash has been the best tool to create and present our animations online. Transfer to Flash enabled us to seamlessly integrate various types of web log content within the Filmlog structure and standardize its interface.

GO! group show in Luqidacion Tatal Gallery
Madrd, Spain
A Heart of Perspective drawing in the group show in Madrid, Spain
Filmlog was started in 2002 in New York by Dario Solman to record chronologically the development of the multimedia project The Heart of Perspective / the Making of the Film. Over time the project grew and evolved. It is not a single a work anymore, but a chain of correlated and modular multimedia projects that share similar visual language and narratives.
Filmlog Video features full length videos made for the Heart of Perspective / the Making of the Film project.
Dario Solman Portfolio
The portfolio surveys Dario Solman's art production since its beginnings in the late Nineties, when he started as a painter, went on to be a multimedia artist and finally broke off with the arts to be a filmlogger and a robot / astronaut myth architect.
